Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wonly mobile application ("App"), developed and operated by Klub 51 ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Wonly is a word-guessing party game where players explain words using only words starting with a specific letter. The App is available on iOS and may offer both free and paid features. The selection, layout, and pricing of paid features may change over time and may differ between users as part of A/B experiments.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. Some content is marked as 18+ and restricted to users who confirm they meet this age requirement.

3. Account and Usage

You do not need to create an account. No personal registration or login is required. Game data is stored locally on your device and is not synced across devices. We do not provide a way to recover progress if the App is uninstalled or the device is reset.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

4.1. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases including auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly, monthly, annual) and a one-time lifetime purchase that unlock premium content and features. The exact set of plans shown on the paywall, their prices, and any promotional offers may vary by region, locale, and ongoing experiments.

4.2. Payment

All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By making a purchase, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions. Subscription validation and access entitlement are handled on our behalf by Adapty (see Privacy Policy).

4.3. Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

4.4. Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Wonly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.5. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

4.6. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, the trial period and the plan it applies to will be specified at purchase. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price displayed at the time of sign-up. Only one free trial is available per Apple ID.

4.7. Promotional Offers

We may from time to time offer discounted plans, limited-time offers, or special bundles, including offers triggered after onboarding or specific in-app events. The terms of each offer (price, duration, eligibility) will be disclosed at the point of purchase.

4.8. Changes to Pricing

We reserve the right to change prices for in-app purchases and subscriptions at any time, in accordance with Apple's policies. Existing subscriptions will continue at their original price until the end of the current billing period; you will be notified of any price increase before it takes effect.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, and word databases, is the property of Klub 51 or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without prior written consent.

Word categories and content are provided for entertainment purposes only. The 18+ category contains words intended for adult audiences. We are not responsible for how players explain or interpret words during gameplay.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KLUB 51 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality. Currently this includes Apple's App Store and StoreKit, Adapty, Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging), Mixpanel, and Apple's SKAdNetwork. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Use of these services is governed by their respective terms.

11. A/B Testing and Experiments

We continuously experiment with different versions of the App — including different paywall layouts, copy, plan options, and feature flows — to learn what works best. Your experience may therefore differ from another user's experience at any given time. These experiments do not affect entitlements you have already purchased.

12. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, you may receive transactional messages (e.g. subscription expiration reminders), gameplay-related messages, and occasional promotional messages. You can disable push notifications at any time from your device settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for breach of these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of unused subscription periods, except where required by Apple's policies.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
